Our Bodies are Fancy Chemical Factories

COMPLEXICITY - "Abandon the urge to simplify everything, to look for formulas and easy answers, and to begin to think multidimensionally, to glory in the mystery and paradoxes of life, not to be dismayed by the multitude of cause and consequences that are inherent in each experience -- to appreciate the fact that life is complex." M. Scott Peck

Our bodies take in "raw material" in the form of food, water and air and make trillions of specialized chemicals for the body to function properly.  This is the reason why nutrition and lifestyle are the basis for optimum health and wellness.

Bioavailable means how usable a particular mineral or substance is. It has to be digested, absorbed and to be able to get to the correct body cell. When it gets there, it has to be further altered or converted to be useful for the body. Finally when the process is over it needs to be easily eliminated from the body so it does not accumulate as a toxin and clog everything up.

One of the first workings in the factory of your body is your digestion, and most people have impaired digestion and therefore nothing works right from the get-go since they cannot absorb properly. If the person can digest, then the raw material needs to be bound up and sent on "transport trucks",to be  transported and released, usually unwrapped, rewrapped or repackaged many times as they are transported throughout the body. Eating cooked vegetables helps with the transport, but if the transport trucks are unavailable the raw material cannot be utilized well throughout. Another concern is that some of the raw material might be at war with other raw material - where they antagonize each other. Hair analysis is an excellent way to assess how things are working in your factory.
